extending Peregrine Systems' enterprise
software business (acquired by HP) into the web-based employee self service (ESS) category, and in the
mid 90s, launching one the very first mobile B2B applications designed for the Windows CE platform.
In 2011, Pelin was named one of the

Erik is a content strategist and new media marketer with more than two decades of technology marketing
experience for B2B and B2C markets. He has helped pioneering start-ups and brand giants such as
Microsoft
navigate the emerging digital and social landscape. Erik started his career in journalism before
joining WebSideStory (now Adobe Systems) as Director of Corporate Communications. He helped transform
the company’s image from a webmaster tools provider to the leader online marketing optimization
solutions. Erik later joined Microsoft
in a senior marketing role, helping launch major privacy and
security initiatives. Erik also served as VP of Communications for Telcentris, the creator of
VoxOx, a pioneering cloud-based unified communications application.
As an independent new media consultant, Erik has helped a clients such as Digitaria,
MarketingProfs.com, ViralHeat, Online Marketing Summit (OMS), Technology Leaders, Jive Media and
